We at Indian Cyber Squad expect the highest ethical conduct from everyone in our organization. We expect each member/ employee to conduct business with integrity, comply with all applicable laws and regulations and represent Indian Cyber Squad’s best interests. Our expectations not only apply to each of our employees, but also any client, representatives and independent volunteers we closely work with. This Code of conduct/Acceptable ethics covers a wide range of practices and procedures. This Code of conduct does not and cannot cover every aspect that may arise. The Code of conduct sets forth basic principles to guide you as a representative of Indian Cyber Squad by passing which can make you acquainted with some unfair situations/termination. The following basic business practices and acceptable ethics are described:

 

The following basic business practices and  Acceptable Ethics are described:

  • In the Indian Cyber Squad, it is imperative to maintain the confidentiality of any private information obtained during professional work, specifically client records and personal data. Under no circumstances should any personal information, such as name, email address, Aadhar number, or any unique identifier, be gathered, given, offered, or exchanged with a third party without prior consent from the Cyber Squad.

  • It is strictly prohibited to intentionally use software or processes obtained or held unlawfully or deceptively. Engaging in deceptive financial practices, such as bribery, double billing, or other inappropriate monetary practices, is not acceptable.

  • Any conflicts of interest that cannot be reasonably avoided and escaped must be disclosed to all parties concerned. Furthermore, contributing to the Cyber Squad's knowledge by conducting continuous research and sharing one's experience with fellow members is encouraged.

  • Professional conduct must always be ethical and proficient, deserving trust in one's knowledge and integrity when requesting professional services. One must ensure ethical behavior and professional care at all times during every professional assignment without bias.

  • It is strictly forbidden to engage with malicious hackers or participate in any malicious activities. Neither should the client organization's systems be compromised intentionally or allowed to be compromised during the course of work.

  • All penetration testing activities must be authorized and within legal limits. Participation in any black hat activity or association with any black hat community that serves to compromise systems is not permitted. Additionally, one should not be part of any underground hacking community for the purpose of promoting and expanding black hat activities.

  • Inappropriate reference to certification or misleading use of certificates, marks, or logos in publications, catalogs, documents, or speeches is prohibited. Moreover, no conviction of any felony or violation of any tradition that must be adhered to is acceptable.

  • One must not make any misleading and/or unauthorized statements regarding Cyber Squad certification. If a membership is suspended or withdrawn, all claims regarding certification containing any reference to Cyber Squad or certification must be discontinued. Any belongings issued by Cyber Squad must be returned upon suspension or withdrawal of membership.

  • Finally, it is strictly forbidden to engage in any deceptive incident, security breach, misconduct, or any other conduct that could be seen as a compromise of the integrity or privacy of Cyber Squad.

  • ICS does not warrant or make any representations regarding the correctness, accuracy, reliability, or otherwise of the materials in this site or the result of their use; ICS and its partner organizations reserve the right to remove the volunteer from the program.
