Disha Scholarship Scheme for Girl Students - 2020-21

About theProgram

Indian Cyber Squad invites applications for Opportunity Cost to Parents of Girl Students -  2020-21 girl students of Class 6 to 10. The scholarship aims to improve the participation of Girl children in Classes 6 and 10 so that they perform better and have a better chance of progressing to the post-matric stage of education. 

 

Eligibility

To be eligible for this scholarship, an applicant must-

o   Be a girl student

o   Be studying in Class 6 and 10 at a recognised institution

o   Have a gross annual family income not more than INR 6.00 lakhs per annum from all sources

o   Have secured not less than 50% marks in the previous final examination 

 

Benefits

The selected scholars will receive a scholarship of INR 1,200 per month.

How can you apply?

Eligible candidates can apply for the scholarship through following steps -
Step 1: Click on the 'Apply Now' button below.

Step 2: Create Account (SignUp/ SignIn) to website.
Step 3: Write the applicant's name,gender, date of birth, mobile number, email ID. and select the Scholarship scheme.
Step 4: Enter Aadhaar Number as identification detail and click on the 'Register' button.
Step 5: An application ID will be sent to email id. Use that for future references.


Note: All the applicants are advised to fill the form correctly, no changes can be made once submitted. The applicants are also advised to fill only one application as multiple applications will lead to the cancellation of the form.

Selection Criteria

The selection of scholars for the ICS Scholarship Program involves a multi-stage process. The scholars will be selected based on their family income and academic background. The key steps of the selection process are mentioned below:

  • Screening of scholarship applications based on financial need and academic background

  • Telephonic interviews for further shortlisting of candidates

  • Face-to-face interview for final selection (if required)

Terms and Conditions

  • Applications will be invited once in a year through Indian Cyber Squad Scholarship Portal.

  • If a candidate failed/ drop out in a subsequent year, He/she will not be eligible for further scholarship

  • In case both CGPA & Total marks are given in the mark sheet, total marks will be considered for determining the percentage.

  • The grant of the scholarship is subject to the condition that the student does not receive any financial assistance in the shape of scholarship/any emoluments, salary, stipend, etc.

  • Only verified online applications will be considered for the award of scholarship.
