Junior Computer scientist fellowship (Class 8th – 12th)   2020-21

About the Program

Indian Cyber Squad invites applications for Junior Computer Scientist fellowship Program for  school students of Class 8 to 12. The scholarship aims to support the education of talented and economically backward students and minimize the drop-out rate among students. Selected students will receive up to INR 50,000 per annum.

 
Eligibility

To be eligible, an applicant must:

o   Be studying in the Government & Private schools.

o   Have a gross annual family income not more than INR 6.00 lakhs per annum from all sources

o   Have secured not less than 60% marks in the previous final examination

Benefits

All eligible students will receive INR 50,000 per annum for every year of study as a lump sum amount towards payment of school fee, purchase of computer, books, stationeries, software, equipment, etc. No other additional grant will be payable in lieu of hostel charges and medical charges, etc.

How can you apply?

Eligible candidates can apply for the scholarship through following steps -
Step 1: Click on the 'Apply Now' button below.

Step 2: Create Account (SignUp/ SignIn) to website.
Step 3: Write the applicant's name,gender, date of birth, mobile number, email ID. and select the Scholarship scheme.
Step 4: Enter Aadhaar Number as identification detail and click on the 'Register' button.
Step 5: An application ID will be sent to email id. Use that for future references.


Note: All the applicants are advised to fill the form correctly, no changes can be made once submitted. The applicants are also advised to fill only one application as multiple applications will lead to the cancellation of the form.

Selection Criteria

The selection of scholars for the ICS Scholarship Program involves a multi-stage process. The scholars will be selected based on their family income and academic background. The key steps of the selection process are mentioned below:

  • Screening of scholarship applications based on financial need and academic background

  • Telephonic interviews for further shortlisting of candidates

  • Face-to-face interview for final selection (if required)

Terms and Conditions

  • Applications will be invited once in a year through Indian Cyber Squad Scholarship Portal.

  • If a candidate failed/ drop out in a subsequent year, He/she will not be eligible for further scholarship

  • In case both CGPA & Total marks are given in the mark sheet, total marks will be considered for determining the percentage.

  • The grant of the scholarship is subject to the condition that the student does not receive any financial assistance in the shape of scholarship/any emoluments, salary, stipend, etc.

  • Only verified online applications will be considered for the award of scholarship.
